Safar Media ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Amanah mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our App.

Amanah is built on Islamic principles of trust (amanah) and dignity. We take your privacy seriously and have designed the app to keep all your data private and secure on your device.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data.

Amanah does not:

• Collect your name, email, or contact information
• Track your location
• Access your contacts
• Monitor your usage
• Send data to external servers
• Use analytics or tracking tools
• Share data with third parties

3. Data Storage

All information you enter into Amanah is stored locally on your device only:

• Text Content: Your du'as, reflections, and messages are stored in the app's secure database on your device
• Voice Recordings: Audio files are stored in the app's private Documents directory on your device
• Dates & Categories: Your chosen unlock dates and spiritual categories are stored locally
• Heart States: Your emotional and spiritual state selections are stored locally
• Settings: Your preferences (name, theme) are stored locally

4. Data Backup

Your data is automatically included in your iOS device backups:

• iCloud Backup: If you have iCloud backup enabled, your Amanah data is backed up to your personal iCloud account
• iTunes/Finder Backup: When you back up your device to your computer, Amanah data is included
• Manual Export: You can export your capsules to a backup file and store it wherever you choose

Important: We do not have access to any backups. They are controlled entirely by you through Apple's backup systems or your own storage.

5. Data Transmission

No data is transmitted from the app.

• The app works completely offline
• No internet connection required
• No data sent to servers
• No communication with external services

6. Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party services.

• No advertising networks
• No analytics platforms
• No crash reporting services
• No social media integrations
• No payment processors (app is free)

7. Permissions

The app requests minimal permissions:

• Microphone: Only used for voice recordings when you choose to record. Recordings stay on your device
• Notifications: Only used to remind you when capsules unlock. You can disable this anytime in iOS Settings

The app does NOT request:

• Location access
• Camera access
• Contacts access
• Photo library access (except when you export backups)

8. Children's Privacy

Amanah is rated 4+ and is safe for users of all ages. Since we do not collect any data, there is no information collected from children or anyone else.

9. Your Rights & Control

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: All your data is accessible within the app at any time
• Export: You can export your capsules to a backup file anytime
• Delete: You can delete individual capsules or all data within the app
• Complete Removal: Deleting the app removes all your data from your device

10. Data Security

Your data is protected by:

• iOS Security: Your data is protected by your device's iOS security features
• Device Encryption: If you have device encryption enabled, your data is encrypted
• No Server Risk: Since there are no servers, there's no risk of server breaches
• No Third-Party Risk: Since we use no third parties, there's no third-party data risk

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be:

• Posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date
• Announced in app updates if significant

We will never change our core principle: your data stays on your device and is never collected or shared.
